So when we start out on our fitness journey we can think of the basics like lifting weights, changing the way we eat, maybe even changing some of the crowds we hang out with, but how often to do think about building mental muscles?

You see, when your head isn’t in the game it’s hard to focus on your goals, or see them through, it’s hard to focus on anything but the battle in your mind.

Which is why you have to develop the brain muscles. How do you do it? The same way you exercise any other muscle, repetition.

You see after that rush of adrenaline from starting your new fitness journey wears off guess what? You are going to wake up to that alarm going off telling you to get your ass to the gym and you are going to want to hit snooze. But know that this is your chance to build your mental strength.

No you won’t feel like it but you will be glad you did afterwards.

Or when you are walking through the grocery store and all you want to do is grab pizza rolls and a tub of ice cream…keep walking! Once again you are building that mental fortitude. So no matter how hard your brain tries to tell you that you “need” something ignore it. Every time you do your getting mentally stronger
