Buckwheat Pancakes


If you've never had buckwheat pancakes, you are missing out. Buckwheat not only tastes amazing but has antioxidant properties, helps regulate blood sugars, and contributes to overall heart health. Not to mention it has a decent amount of protein. So what are you waiting for? Dig in!


Makes 4 servings (12 pancakes)


Ingredients:


1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

3 TBSP butter melted

1 eggs

1 cup milk

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg


Directions:


Mix all dry ingredients together. Then add milk, melted butter, and egg and stir until mixed well. If mixture is too dry add a touch more milk.


Spray or grease frying pan, and cook on low to medium heat, flipping when needed.

Sugar: 5g
